The primary purpose of Lakeside's Eldership Ministry is to assist the Pastors in the exercise of spiritual care over the Congregation. Lakeside Elders minister:
• By anointing with oil and praying over those requesting it (see James 5:14-15);
• By mentoring new converts so they can move from being a "Decision" to being a "Disciple;
• By leading Lakeside's "Prayer Circle Ministry" (at least once per month);
• By assisting the Pastors in visitation ministry when requested;
• By assisting the Lead Pastor and Official Board in the Membership Ministry;
• By assisting in Lakeside's Benevolence Ministry;
• And by being available to the Congregation for spiritual mentoring and guidance.
Our Elders are God's Gift to the Lakeside Congregation and Leadership.
